Free participation and award benefits
There is no charge for entry, eligibility checking, assessment, decision feedback, a standard digital certificate, a public award record or standard use of the issued award artwork. Corrections, appeals and product-change reporting are also free. Membership and purchase are not conditions of these benefits.
Applicants may incur their own costs in assembling evidence or obtaining translation. Such expenditure does not buy an assessment advantage, and applicants are not required to purchase services from a programme-nominated commercial provider.
Optional physical items
Trophies, printed certificates and official labels are separate purchases available to recipients for a published award. A quotation sets out specifications, customisation, taxes, delivery and payment arrangements before an order is agreed. A physical order does not expand the award scope or establish that a retail unit has been tested or authenticated.
Recipients may use the issued artwork and arrange compliant printing under the mark guidelines without buying official labels. Purchasing official labels is optional.
Decisions and staff access
Reviewers receive the evidence needed to assess a product. They do not receive purchase history, order value or sales forecasts. Fulfilment staff may read the award identity and current permission status needed to process an order; they cannot access scoring or alter a decision.
Membership, sponsorship and supplier relationships must not determine reviewer selection, scores, eligibility exceptions, appeal outcomes or public register placement. An attempted intervention is recorded and referred to the programme's authorised governance role.
Programme responsibility
IAHPM is responsible for administering free entry, assessment, decision feedback and standard digital award benefits. Physical-item purchases are separate transactions and cannot influence eligibility, reviewer selection, scores or publication.
No preferential treatment
There is no paid fast track, purchased award level, guaranteed winner package or paid register ranking. A recipient who buys nothing retains the same standard free benefits. Order cancellation, refund and delivery disputes do not trigger withdrawal of the award or its public record.
If a product issue independently requires suspension or revocation, it is considered on its evidence even where an order exists. Any unfinished order is handled separately under its terms.
Concerns about independence
Report any request for payment linked to an award decision, preferential review or release of free materials. Include the entry reference or Award ID and the relevant correspondence. IAHPM records the concern and considers it independently of any purchase.
